Dinky Toys (1947 - 1962)
The 40 Series of British Saloon Cars
To the dinky toy collector, the subject of this article – the 40 Series – has come to be one of the most interesting ranges of all their products.
The 40 series are models of post war prototypes and were the first saloon car castings to emerge from the Company.
From the very first in the series, the Riley RMA developed in 1947, to the very last in the range, let our article lead you through the post war developments (and excitement) of the Dinky Saloon Car series.
